Our take on a comforting Japanese classic, this Shoyu-style ramen delivers deep, savory flavor in just 10 minutes. Black garlic brings richness and depth, balanced with coconut, black pepper, herbs, and a touch of star anise for a layered, aromatic broth. All you need to add is maple syrup, soy sauce, and ramen noodles to bring it together. Simple by design, this ramen is easy to customize with soft-boiled eggs, mushrooms, green onions, chili oil, or your favorite proteins and vegetables.

Savory and umami-rich, this blend layers aromatic smokiness with gentle sweetness, earthy depth, and a mild, approachable heat.

FAQ

How long do spices keep?

Most spices don’t spoil, but they do lose flavor over time. Whole spices hold their flavor for about 2–3 years, while ground spices are best used within 6–9 months.

Why do spices lose flavor?

Flavor comes from essential oils. Over time, those oils evaporate, taking aroma and taste with them. Grinding spices releases those oils immediately—great for flavor, but it also speeds up that loss. That’s why freshly ground spices are more vibrant, and why we recommend buying smaller amounts more often.

How should I store my spices?

Keep spices in airtight containers, away from sunlight, heat, and moisture. Avoid storing them near the stove or on a windowsill.

Are your products gluten-free?

All of our spices and blends are gluten-free. For prepackaged items without a gluten-free label, we can’t guarantee they are free from gluten.
